You're It! Tagging

I was really surprised to find so many tags already in our catalog. When looking at a catalog entry, I can see how a patron could expand an interest in a specific type of book or topic by click on one of the description terms used in tagging an item.

I think the "word clouds" are really neat and I can see how specific, limited use would be good in "advertise" a particular book. I am working on expanding my views by invisioning a more general and broader use. Some time continuous baby steps work best for me.

Instant Messaging: Who would have thought that we would have the capabillity to correspond with our friends, family and co-workers Instantly using so many avenues. The world is about communication and we have the capability to access any "group" using the system that fits us the best.

I have used Instant Messager when corresponding with my family, but the one I focused on for this exercise was our Communicator System, a great tool for two or a group. It transcends departments and administration levels ~ It works!
